Doctor Amanda Hess was in the hospital preparing to give birth when she heard that a pregnant mother was in distress and her doctor had left the hospital for a break. Dr. Hess put her own delivery on hold to help the woman and after the on-call doctor came back, Hess went and had her own baby.
