The world record for the loudest thing ever shouted belongs to an Irish teacher who shouted the word “quiet” at 121 decibels, the equivalent of a jet engine.

Mark Henry has the world record for combined lifts of snatch, clean & jerk, squat, bench press and dead-lift totaling 3324.5 lbs all in drug tested competitions. Making him arguably the strong man to have ever lived.

A man in India set a world record in 1986 by spending 72 hours in a cage with 72 of the most venomous species of snakes in India to spread awareness and to prove that snakes don’t bite unless provoked. He came out of the cage unharmed without a single bite.

An airplane crashed into the Empire State Building in 1945. Among other damage, plane parts severed the cables of an elevator and the woman inside fell over 70 stories. She lived and holds the world record for the longest survived elevator fall.

In 1958, two pilots flew an aircraft for more than two months without landing, refueling by matching speed with a truck driving down a road. Their record has not been broken.
